I bet every one of us is somehow knowledgeable about the top rated American Idol. Running now on season 9, the show has produced successful talents which include Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, David Cook, Jordin Sparks and some non winners such as David Archuleta and Jennifer Hudson among others.

American Idol has caught the attention of the world especially the Filipino people. I remember the times I was betting on my friends just so I can show them of that my choice was better than theirs. My bet would usually end up in the first place or the winner. Guess I have the talent of the seer.:p

Every season, a lot of controversies are being attached to the show—on the contestants, the host, and even the judges themselves. I remember some rumor that says Paula Abdul once had an affair with one of the contestants of AI. And the latest controversy it had was that of Abdul being permanently kicked out from the show. Abdul, they say, was trying to ask for a raise. With Ryan Seacrest and Simon Cowell’s huge income, I bet she had had of it.

I was greeting my friend Mikaila Veruasa a happy birthday when I saw one of her links: Ellen Degeneres on AI. “Oh” was my initial reaction. I don’t really know what to say. Bet the show will be funny now that she’s one of the judges. I’m a fan of her but I still like Abdul’s warmth personality. There’s no doubt that she can do the job but, well, I have my opinion.:p
