Oatmeal to Tighten Pores
I was surf channeling one night and I stumbled across this channel who gives tips on what you can do to take care of your skin, face, health, etc. And who would knew that you can use oatmeal as part of your skin care regimen? The host of this particular channel kept talking about oatmeal as a home remedy which you can use to tighten your pores. I got curious so well, I tried it. Here’s the “recipe” as instructed:
- Put two table spoon of oatmeal in a bowl.
- Add a table spoon of cold water then mix.
- Put on your face and leave for a few minutes or until it feels dry enough.
- Wash with cold water and pat with a clean towel.
And just like that, you can have your home made pore remedy. It’s actually a bit sticky so if you want to add some water, you can do so. It really depends on how sticky you want your oatmeal to be. If you add too much water, it will become runny and you’ll probably have a hard time coating your face with it. And if it’s too dry, it won’t stick on your face. Also, if you want to have more than the estimated two table spoon of oatmeal, you can as long as the water is adjusted as well. But you don’t want to prepare a lot of oatmeal for your next treatment because if it’s unused for more than a couple of days, the oatmeal will become rancid.
And here’s the sample by yours truly (the picture’s a joke, really) :
